Today is the first day of school! Welcome to Team USC!


We first were assigned seats. I also reviewed pronunciation of your name.


I next reviewed your schedule to see who has and does not have the four USC core teachers.


I then distributed the Agenda paper for Team USC. You are to write down EVERY DAY each assignment for every core class!



On the paper, it tells you to get if you can by TUESDAY the following for world history class:



1. A single subject spiral notebook.

It must be single subject and have approxinately 70 pages.

Please get the college ruled paper.


2. A red pen.


3. A ruler.


4. A small box of crayons.


I then reviewed the "Today In History" that is displayed on the flat screen t.v.s in Room 16.

2. A red pen.

3. A ruler.

4. A small box of crayons.


Today, we reviewed our "Rules for eSpiral Assignments" and the "Rules and Expectations". This page is due back with parent signature next week on Block Day (Wed./Thurs.).


Today, we also chose our class leaders during each period. These positions include Row Leaders and Assistants, Class T.A.s, etc.

Today, we first organized our Social Studies Spiral Notebooks. This included numbering all of the pages, writing a Table of Contents (which I will call a "TofC"), and starting SS Spiral assignment #1. We will start SSSP#01 is "Continents & Bodies of Water" on Block Day.

Today, we finished organizing our Social Studies Spiral Notebooks. This included numbering all of the pages, writing a Table of Contents (which I will call a "TofC"), and starting SS Spiral assignment #1. We then started SSSP#01 is "Continents & Bodies of Water" on Block Day. See my lecture notes under the icon "Geography". This assignment involved taking notes and using the map on the left hand side to mark the continents and bodies of water. This assignment is due on BLOCK DAY! For the highest grade, be sure to use color on your map. Be sure to see "Spiral TofC" under the icon "Daily Updates".


You then received SSSp#2: Geog. #1. This assignment is due on MONDAY. You will take your first geography quiz on Monday!

We also started our review of SSSp#3: Cardinal and Ordinal Numbers. We did not finish our review. There is no due date yet for this assignment.
